Hi, I’m Chris Hazen Molina, and I understand what it’s like to be “doing” from the moment my feet hit the floor in the morning until I crashed at the end of the day from exhaustion and overwhelm.

You see, I am just like you.

Not long ago, I was a prisoner of a busy unconscious life of only “doing”. I didn’t know how to slow down and just “be”. I also struggled with connecting with my emotional and spiritual self.

I was afraid to listen to the whispers of my soul.

My life was far too busy to listen. I was Super Woman. I wanted to be the best at every role I played in life. Wife, mother, daughter, boss, etc.  I was a giver too, doing everything for everyone to make them happy. I thought that the more I gave to everyone, then I would be happy.

Yet something was missing.

When I did slow down, what I saw scared the hell out of me. My soul showed me the truth, and I didn’t want to see it. So I stayed busy.  At that point I was addicted to busyness. It was my medicator to not see the truth. I was running on empty and putting on my “happy mask” every day.

Deep inside, I was in pain. I was running on empty.

And then those whispers got louder. The truth was more evident. And yet I chose not to look at it.
If I looked at the truth and did something about it, I would disappoint so many people. I was the good wife, mother, sister, friend….how on earth could I disappoint others?

The whispers of my soul became so loud….they became a 2X4 across the head. That 2X4 was my wake up call.

It was time to wake up.

As I slowed my life down and began to honor myself, I could see that the whispers were from that deep loving and wise part of me that knew the truth. That part of me always knows what is in my highest good.

The more I awakened to the messages from my soul and consciously chose to be loyal to my soul, my life transformed.

My transformation was one small step at a time. Each awareness built on the next. I began to see my deepest truth. I began to see what I wanted in my life, and what I DIDN’T want.

I began to see my life’s purpose. I began to make choices that honored my heart and soul. I consciously choose every day to connect with this deep loving part of who I am.

My soul is my lifeforce.

This is a picture of my secluded Mountain Home where I will be hosting the retreat. In addition to the work with will do in my home, we will be walking to the beautiful Ponderosa Pine forest trails, for meditations and activities in nature, which is ½ block away.

We will be creating a safe and sacred container for the transformational work we will be doing in the fresh mountain air.

Questions & Answers

 

Would I need to take care of my transportation to Flagstaff?

Yes, you can either drive to Flagstaff by yourself or carpool with other retreat attendees. Flagstaff is about 3 ½ – 4 hour drive from Tucson and 2 hour drive from Phoenix. If you are flying in from out of state, you can fly into Phoenix and rent a car and drive to Flagstaff in 2 hours. Or you can fly directly into Flagstaff from a layover in Phoenix. Our home about 2 miles from the Flagstaff airport.

Will I be able to see Flagstaff while I am there for this retreat?

This retreat is set up as a very sacred container. When you check in on Thursday, your time is spent either in the group setting or doing personal reflective work. Once the retreat ends on Sunday afternoon, you can then explore Flagstaff and the surrounding areas.

How long can I stay in Flagstaff after the retreat ends on Sunday?

The retreat ends Sunday afternoon, but you can reserve your room at your hotel for an additional night. I suggest taking that extra time for yourself before you re-enter head back home again. This retreat will be very peaceful for you and taking time to integrate will be very supportive for you.

Are there any physical requirements for this retreat?

The only requirement is that you are physical able to walk the forest trail with the group. We will be walking to the forest, which takes about 5 minutes and then doing walking meditations in the forest, which is approximately an hour long.
